Dr. Jon D. Morrow Joins MDClone Leadership Team as Senior Vice President and Physician Executive

We are excited to announce that Jon D. Morrow, M.D., M.B.A., has joined MDClone as our Senior Vice President and Physician Executive. As a medical informaticist and board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Morrow is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in academic medicine, healthcare technology, medical informatics, and life sciences. He will lead MDClone’s medical affairs activities for the North American market and will be integral in furthering MDClone’s rapid growth.

In this new, pivotal role, Dr. Morrow will facilitate relationships with MDClone’s academic, clinical, and industry audiences and partners, including developing new clinical scenarios and other use cases in collaboration with the MDClone clinical and data-science teams. He will provide the medical insights necessary to position MDClone’s technology for new customers and to optimize its use by existing customers.

Now more than ever, there’s a critical need to be able to access and exchange healthcare information globally, and I look forward to helping lead efforts at MDClone to democratize healthcare data.”

Prior to MDClone, Dr. Morrow served as Senior Medical Leader at GE Healthcare, where he also led the Medical Quality Improvement Consortium. He also served as Medical Director at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and established the company’s Research Informatics group. Recently, he has been an independent medical informatics consultant in medical informatics and clinical quality improvement.

Dr. Morrow is an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his OB/GYN residency training at Northwestern University, and he received an M.B.A. and a master’s degree in medical informatics from Columbia University.
