The early success of Intermountain’s chronic kidney disease (CKD) program has led to other initiatives targeting coronary artery disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and opioids in surgery, all of which are paying significant dividends. Intermountain has closed gaps in cardiovascular care, resulting in reductions in cardiac events, which created savings of over $7M annually.

Rambam Health Care Campus was established in 1938 under the British Mandate as the Governmental Hospital. It became an Israeli governmental hospital with the founding of the State of Israel, and over the last 80 years, it has become world renowned for experience and expertise in a wide range of clinical and research endeavors.
